چکیده

A century of lattice theory was shaped to a large extent by two problems. This introductory article defines the basic concepts, introduces these two problems, and describes their effect on lattice theory. In Parts 1 and 3 there is a very brief introduction of the basic concepts. The reader may find a more detailed introduction in Part 1 of my 2006 book, The Congruences of a Finite Lattice [8], and complete coverage of the topic in my 1998 book, General Lattice Theory, second edition [7]. The two areas we discuss are

Natural Convection and Entropy Generation in Γ-Shaped Enclosure Using Lattice Boltzmann Method

This work presents a numerical analysis of entropy generation in Γ-Shaped enclosure that was submitted to the natural convection process using a simple thermal lattice Boltzmann method (TLBM) with the Boussinesq approximation.  A 2D thermal lattice Boltzmann method with 9 velocities, D2Q9, is used to solve the thermal flow problem. The simulations are performed at a constant Prandtl number (Pr ...

تحول در مفهوم تقصیر پزشکی و مصادیق آن در نظام حقوقی فرانسه

The course of the medical liability developments in the French law since the beginning of the present century up to now has been noticed in different respects. The fundamental basis of the mentioned developments should be sought in the social movements shaped at the outset of past century. The joint point of the related philosophical schools is the protection of the individual rights the most o...

A New Two-Stage Method for Damage Identification in Linear-Shaped Structures Via Grey System Theory and Optimization Algorithm

The main objective of this paper is concentrated on presenting a new two-stage method for damage localization and quantification in the linear-shaped structures. A linear-shaped structure is defined as a structure in which all elements are arranged only on a straight line. At the first stage, by employing Grey System Theory (GST) and diagonal members of the Generalized Flexibility Matrix (GFM),...

A dynamic lattice model for heterogeneous materials

In this paper, the mechanical behavior of three-phase inhomogeneous materials is modeled using the meso-scale model with lattice beams for static and dynamic analyses. The Timoshenko beam theory is applied instead of the classical Euler-Bernoulli beam theory and the mechanical properties of lattice beam connection are derived based on the continuum medium using the non-local continuum theory. T...

سیستمهای الکترونی همبسته قوی در شبکه‌های ناکام

We give an overview of recent work on charge degrees of freedom of strongly correlated electrons on geometrically frustrated lattices. Special attention is paid to the checkerboard lattice, i.e., the two-dimensional version of a pyrochlore lattice and to the kagomé lattice. For the checkerboard lattice it is shown that at half filling when spin degrees of freedom are neglected and at quarter f...
